5 Reasons Why You Need to be at the Boaz Harvest Festival

If you are looking for the ultimate fall festival in Alabama, then look no further than the Boaz Harvest Festival in northeast Alabama. The Boaz Harvest Festival is one of the longest running festivals in our area. And in 2024 it is celebrating 60 years! It kicks off the Fall season and is a ton of fun for anyone who comes. There are so many reasons why you should be at this festival, but here are just five to get you started. This year’s festival is planned for October 4-5, 2024.

Family Fun

The Boaz Harvest Festival is for the whole family! Bring your kids, parents, grandkids, grandparents and everyone else to see downtown Boaz lined up with vendors, food and games. Children will be entertained throughout the day with a free inflatable play area with rides and games. The playground at Old Mill Park will be open as well. Additional activities include a Friday night corn hole competition, live music, a huge antique car show with muscle cars, trucks, motorcycles and the Miss Harvest Festival Pageant.

Festival Food

Come hungry to the Boaz Harvest Festival, because the carnival food will be out in full force. Enjoy a traditional hamburger or corndogs. Get more festive with funnel cakes, deep fried Oreos and candied apples to satisfy your sweet tooth. Wash it down with fresh squeezed lemonade, too!

Games for All

Corn hole enthusiasts unite for the Boaz Harvest Festival’s Corn Hole Tournament. Grab your best bean bag throwing partner for Friday’s event. If that’s not your niche, participate in the pumpkin design contest. You can learn more about that here. Kids can enjoy games from vendors like the Marshall County Tourism & Sports Mobile Visitor Center and win some fun prizes too.

Craft Vendors

There will be hundreds of arts and craft vendors lining the streets of Downtown Boaz. They will be selling the cutest goods for your home and more. Find the cutest Fall decor and clothing to get the Fall season started. Or you can find traditional pieces that are timeless in any time of year and perfect for Christmas gifts!

Live Music

Grab a chair and head to Old Mill Park to listen to some wonderful live music. GRAMMY® Award-Winning Christian music singer and musician Jason Crabb will serenade the crowd on Saturday at 3 p.m. You can also hear 90 Proof on Friday evening at 6 p.m.
