Sand Mountain Amphitheater

The Sand Mountain Amphitheater is a sports, leisure, wellness and entertainment venue across 130-acres in Albertville. The amphitheater can hold 7,500 people and hosts live concerts with artists from around the country. To see who is coming soon to SMPA, check out our events calendar here. 

City Harbor

City Harbor is the newest go-to destination at Lake Guntersville. Enjoy stunning views of the water as you dine, shop and stay at this stunning place. You can arrive by land or boat to relish all amenities. Grab drinks at Levi’s or the Southern Brewer’s Cooperative and listen to live music on the dock. It is truly a place to enjoy it all. 

Jules J. Berta Vineyards & Winery

With offerings from charcuterie baskets for trellis dining, home wine making supplies, gift baskets, tours and tastings… Jules J. Berta Winery is a “must see” in Marshall County. Located in Albertville, the winery is a part of the North Alabama Wine Trail and has a delicious pizza joint on location – Tomato-Tomato Wood Fired Pizza.

The Whole Backstage Theatre

Looking for a place to experience local talent? The Whole Backstage Theatre is a community treasure that features an annual schedule of plays and musicals guaranteed to entertain the entire family. Located in Guntersville and housed in a renovated elementary school dating back to the 1920s, the theatre is operated and maintained by volunteers and generous donations from the community.

Annual Festivals

Whether you’re visiting in the spring or fall, Marshall County has wonderful festivals you can enjoy. The October Harvest Festival in Boaz & SugarFest in Arab are some of our personal favorites. At our annual festivals you can find antique classic car shows, a 5k harvest moon midnight run, 200+ vendors, arts & crafts, delicious food, motorcycle poker run, fun children’s areas, chili cook-off, moon pie eating/rc cola drinking contest and much more!

Live Music

Live music + a cold drink = perfection. You’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for ways to enjoy live music any time during the week. On the weekends you can catch local artists at The Brick in downtown Guntersville, Fire by the Water, Crawmama’s, the Gridiron in Boaz and much more! In the summer, live like a local and catch Music in the Park in downtown Guntersville.

See the History

Marshall County is full of fascinating history! The Albertville Museum and Guntersville Museum both offer great opportunities to learn about the creation of their respective cities and the people who have paved the way for today’s residents and visitors alike.

Arab Historic Village

Nestled just behind the Arab City Park, this historical complex showcases ten historic buildings that portray a North Central Alabama rural community of that time. All have been preserved with authentic furnishings and décor that date back to the 1880’s to 1940’s era.
