Lake Guntersville State Park offers miles upon miles of hiking trails, so make sure to bring your hiking boots to venture out. During your hike, you are bound to see some amazing wildlife that call the state park home. Deer are the most popular of the animals roaming around, and they often come very close to guests. But don’t worry! They are very calm, but please do not feed them.
Take a horseback ride with Alabama Horseback Adventures. With several options available, you will be welcomed with open arms from the great crew at AHA. With all that adventure out of the way, your family will be hungry! Reservations for the Thanksgiving Dinner must be made in advance, however. You can do that by calling 256-505-6602.
Trek out onto the overlook at the Lodge at the end of your day to see on of the most beautiful sunsets you can catch. Get cozy as the night begins and take your vacation all in.
