Liberty Launch 2026 at Sand Mountain Park – July 2
The celebration begins early with Liberty Launch 2026 at Sand Mountain Park & Amphitheater in Albertville on July 2. This free community event commemorates America’s 250th Anniversary with live music, food trucks, children’s activities, inflatables and a spectacular drone show. It’s a perfect way for families to kick off Independence Day festivities while celebrating the nation’s rich history and bright future. Find the details here.
Boaz Fireworks Show – July 3
On July 3 at 8:30 p.m., the celebration continues in Boaz with their fireworks show near the Boaz Recreation Center. Families can gather for an evening of community spirit before enjoying a colorful display that lights up the sky over Boaz, setting the stage for the Fourth of July weekend.
Fireworks Over Lake Guntersville – July 4
The centerpiece of the celebration will be the annual Fireworks Over Lake Guntersville show on Saturday, July 4. The fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m. and will illuminate the night sky above the lake near Civitan Park and Sunset Drive. Spectators can enjoy breathtaking reflections across the water while celebrating our nation’s 250th birthday. The show is best viewed from the Civitan Park area, Sunset Drive or from boats on the lake. Prior to the fireworks, visitors can enjoy a concert put on by the Mountain Valley Arts Council. The Old Mixed Tapes will hit the stage from 6 until 9 p.m. in Civitan Park on the Jeff Cook Stage. Food trucks will also be available all day.
